Methodology
IT implementation is one of the biggest investments any business can make. It requires meticulous attention to detail, and skillful partners who are dedicated to the success of your business as if it were their own.
Our hand-picked teams are selected based on their specialized industry experience and knowledge. This ensures only the most qualified people are consistently assigned to your project – from beginning to end.
Practical Approach
Through the completion of more than 250 implementation and upgrade projects, we know that each action we take throughout the project lifecycle must be deliberate and purposeful.
Based in traditional project management practices, our client-focused approach is orchestrated to ease the process and advance your project through a logical series of defined phases.
Plan
The initiation phase of the project is used to identify:
Key stakeholders and their roles in the project
Project scope
Resources & commitments
Expected outcomes/objectives
Discovery
We facilitate workshops to guide the project team through the process of understanding and selecting the business process alternatives offered by the software.
Build
All system conversions, interfaces, custom reports and forms begin in this phase. AITO takes the lead in writing requirements, developing and unit testing. This phase may extend beyond deployment/go live phases depending on the specific requirements of each project.
Training
Customized depending on the specific requirements of the project, a typical training phase involves ongoing trial and training throughout the modelling of a project.
Workshops are developed for each functional area of a business (e.g. Customer Care, Rates, Finance) and sessions occur prior to running test scripts.
Model
Modelling scripts are developed based on the design. Scripts are executed to validate design for applications, technology and security in a prototype environment. Issues are documented and resolved.
Knowledge transfer from AITO to client in the form of task or process-specific training. This approach allows the user to learn, configure and use the software as it relates to a specific activity or function. This produces a higher rate of knowledge transfer and retention in contrast to a classroom training where entire program learnings often predate hands-on interaction by days or weeks.
Deploy/Go Live
Testing and validation complete, the production environment is configured and rolled-out to the organization.
Support
With an emphasis on moving client to normalized operations, AITO provides support and assistance through the first business cycles, post program deployment.
